Fashion has always been a women’s desire and a source of happiness to all, not just women. Its desire of all. But why I wrote especially for women, as many fashion essentials which are used for beautifying fabrics are not environment friendly. So, what does that mean? This means that the decorative items, patch work, embroidery and other things need and should be made of pure and natural sources and not from plastic mixed substances.
How to achieve it:
- Use more of pure cottons
- More of pure silks
- Natural colors, even before industrial revolution colors were used. The colors were not synthetic. The proofs of use of colors are in painting on walls, and even at archeological sites. Hence, way to produce colors should be environment friendly and the color itself have to be eco color. How can we make it ? How have colors been made historically ? How ?
- More of pure wool
- Jute
- Other natural sources, reusable stones ..
For all this we need to invest more in natural sources, natural ways to create fabric from raw materials. Hence more research and developments are required. But one thing should be noticed, there need to be improvements in all areas be it (1) Green-Coloring of fabrics, or decoration items, produced using better environment friendly procedures, (2) The material should itself be bio-degradable, (3) Care for the providers, take care of balance of use, finally what other things can be used then?
