Fat free delicious chicken for Saturday

Here I shall tell what I made for Saturday, a tasty, simple, spicy dish from chicken and all you need is, chicken, salt, black pepper to minimum. And if you have more spices such as cinnamon, cardamom (black and green), bay leaves, then even better taste. I used all these! Here is how it looks, simple, tasty, spicy ! Idea is low fat content and delicious.

The whole idea is heating in water with spices for 15-20 minutes, so that these spices are well immersed in chicken and it tastes tastier, as spices are well deep inside chicken now. No oil is added, it can be added to give some golden tinge in case you want to serve to guests…

Without oil

Fried in 1 spoon of oil, for one minute to give this golden touch and taste (optional, as it tastes so well without it too and with it even more delicious)

Step 1. Wash 250 grams chicken with water. I used boneless.

Step 2. Take a pan and glasses of water and heat it. Put salt and black pepper as per need it it, I used 1 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon black pepper. And heat the pan.

Step 3. Put chicken pieces in pan with water. The following added spices I added:

cinnamon, 4-5 strands, cardamom (black (3) and green (3)–crushed to maximum you can), bay leaves (5-6), ¬†asafoetida powder (1/4 th spoon) [these are good for health as well]

These are optional, you can have a perfect Saturday evening with just salt, pepper, red – green chili and sauces..too.

Step 4. Let the pan heat for till water dries up. Once done taste chicken. It should be done in 15-20 minutes on full flame, high heat. Once water is just near completion to dry up, put one minced onion in it, so that it is not fully cooked and neither uncooked for best tastes.

Taste chicken, if you thick you want it to be more softer, add some more water and heat more and dry water. I liked a tighter version hence 20 minutes with water heating was enough. Step 5. It is ready to eat. Optionally, you can fry in 1 spoon of oil, for one minute to give this golden touch and extra taste (optional, as it tastes so well without it too and with it even more delicious)
