Recipe for one, Ingredients: 100 grams ladyfingers, 1/2 spoon cumin, 1/2 spoon of turmeric powder, 1 spoon salt, 1/2 spoon red chili, 1/2 spoon of black pepper powder. A strand of garlic and half inch of ginger.
Step 1. Wash ladyfingers and if needed clean them with cloth
Step 2. Cut the two sides of ladyfingers
Step 3. Split the ladyfingers into two parts by cutting vertically with knife in two parts.
Step 4. Heat 2 spoon of oil in frying pan. Add cumin in the hot oil for tempering
[Note you can use any tempering techniques, I explained in previous posts, either with black pepper, as tempering, or Ferula Asafoetida, you can try any flavor. However for this dish, I found taste of cumin tempering the best, hence suggesting the same to you]
Step 5. Put the ladyfingers in frying pan.
Step 6. Mix spices as per your taste and likings in the pan. I added the following
1/2 spoon of turmeric powder, 1 spoon salt, 1/2 spoon red chilli, 1/2 spoon of black pepper powder. A strand of garlic and half inch of ginger.
Step 7. Mix the spices in frying pan with ladyfingers.
Step 8. Keep mixing or if you know the taste you need, cover it with lid for 2-3 minutes.
I preferred moving in the thing in pan for 4-5 minutes and I got the exact taste I wanted.
Step 9. Its ready, hot and tasty! Must try! And is nutritious too !
