How are you all doing?

I missed writing to you for a long time now and I am sorry for that! It’s so pleasant here in Melbourne outskirts Australia that I got absorbed and driven in the passion of this land, a never-before feeling of unexpressed emotions, beauty, joy, and the love of nature! I keep thinking how nice it is here, I want this feeling for the rest of my life! But there is something special in this place! I don’t know what God wants!

I am doing fine and on a journey to Australia. After my last year’s 15-day visit to Australia in June 2023, I loved this place so much that I told my elder sister and brother-in-law who are citizens here, that I wanted to come to Australia for a longer duration as 15 days was not enough for me. They told me to come to Australia in April 2024 to help them and I came here on my own from Delhi on the 5th of April landing on the 6th of April at Melbourne Airport, my sister’s family came to pick me up from the airport. I am here to spend time with my sister’s family. However, I will be applying for PR soon. My inherent interest is in AI research work as you all know.

It’s getting cold here, and I try to mimic people here by not wearing a jacket and landing up with a cold nose. Now my cold nose is well, and I love the air here, it’s so pure, I love the greenery and the huge sky. It feels like heaven! Really! It’s so beautiful!

In the coming future, I would like to work in Australia in post-doctoral research contributing to the research work and progress in AI at some leading Australian Universities, and for that, I need a research statement. I shall apply for PR as well in the coming times! Wish me luck!

Today let’s discuss would Robo (short for Robot that I use) Dogs replace pet dogs. Same for other pets such as cats, robot cats can never replace real cats! What do you think? Here is my point of view.

Real-looking Robot Cat, even a cat would like to clean the fur of this robot cat, thinking it’s his/her fellow real cat! Even humans may get confused about which is the real cat or which is the robot cat, as real cats are mostly lazing around. But all the difference would be gone when the cats would put their tails up and would look at you with a Meaoo? No? And when you touch your cat to love her? Won’t you? Won’t you find the difference? Won’t you feel the love? Won’t you feel the bounding?

Who can replace the caress of the animal, they say rabbits carry diseases, but they are so good to caress, as a child I used to do to a pet-loving neighbor’s rabbits and hens. The funny thing is she, we used to call the neighbor‘s pet hen chicks to the house to eat kitchen cockroaches! Lols! Can Robot hen chicks eat cockroaches, so do not challenge robotics companies. Already a mouse-eating Robot cat came on the internet sometime back, to oust Tom from the Tom and Jerry show!

Saying Goodbye to pets was never easy. Can Robot Pets love to learn preferences to give a cushion when a loved pet passes by? To deal with the pain of the loss of a loved pet?

Saying goodbyes to pets is never easy, I remember my three pet cats and pet pups even now, I think I was 12 or 14 year old when I lost them after the short love they shared with me in my life. I loved the way they used to drink milk and eat breads. How excited they were when it was meal time, the way they used to lick my hands in love, the way my cats used to put their tail in the air and rub their tail on my feet after I used to pat them. I can’t forget them. The only pup I had was so lazy, that I called him Dhondu, he was so cute, but I lost him when he was very young, he was a stray dog child. The three cats were kids of the stray cats who gave birth to the children in the gaps of the plant fence of my childhood garden. I lost them too when they were growing old. My favorite was named Nosey as she had a white mark on nose. And I loved the innumerable fat cats who used my garden to prey on the birds and look around (fat as there were a lot of house mice in my region to feed the stray cats). Rest I still remember some running sessions with a neighbor’s German shepherd adult dog as a seventeen-year-old, somehow, I became conscious of pets after my teens, the story for that may be some other time. After coming in April to Australia I met a 6-month lovely pup, he loved me so much and so did I! After so long I loved a pup! He licked my hands, and then moved his tails, and even did a small, beautiful hello, I loved petting him.

So, what if you lose your pet dog/cat? Can a Robot dog/ Robot cat learn the pet cats and pet dogs habits? It won’t be easy, but it can help you to remember the memories and love. For sure it won’t be easy to forget, but when you come back from the office the pet dog knows what you want and how you want it! And the Robot dog may teach some of your best dog/cat games and memories to your new dog/cat if they want to learn! I know it’s easier said than done, but it may help in the transition phase, for those, some people are strong some are emotional, some cant bear it.

Care for pets while you are at work

Can Robot dogs take care of your pet-loving dog while you are in the office, can it take your pet dog for a walk and clean the things we all know? Can it give your pet dog company on a fever day or a bad stomach day? Won’t it reduce your worries when you are in a meeting or a business call? And even on a Saturday, won’t a robot dog take care of your pet dog when you are on lunch to a friend’s place?

Same for cats, especially for naughty flying cats! Won’t robot cats help your house from getting messy when you are at work, your cat would be busy caressing the robot cat, while she waits for you to come back, while the robot cat may not wait so much for you to come back! It can be automated to give the robot cat company to give big brotherly love, supervision, and to even feed the pet cat milk when you are out!

Robot dog/cat calling you on your phone/gadgets in your office to ask what to play/do with your loving pet dog/cat?

What a relief it would be. No. This part is self-explanatory!

Learning Prosthetic limbs for animals with Robotics and Machine Learning

Another area is prosthetic limbs for pets and stray animals, development of these requires some training data and can be well-trained with the help of robotic dogs and robotic cats, to mention a few. These can be installed in even lions and other jungle animals in need once trained on Robot Dogs. Jungle animals can get hurt as well, and need help and humans are responsible for the welfare of animals on Earth, the robotic dogs can be used in this area if modified after training and learning with Machine Learning.
