Let them fly – Silk

They give such a valuable gift-Silk

And are shredded before even their wings open

Let them fly

Let them breathe for a while

Let them smell the earth

For they may not come again soon

They are silkworms

Their lives are short

So is their time on Earth

Give them thanksgiving

For they before leaving

Will give colored gold called silk

So much, that one doesn’t feel bad

Before wearing silk

Silk is the most beautiful fabric

It’s prized in terms of silver

Give silkworms thanks

Let them fly

Till they want in their jungle

Where silk is grown

Be it a small place for us

But a huge sky for them

Let the enjoy

Before they give a luxury

For life to be beheld

It shines like diamonds

Still cheaper than platinum

To remember them forever

Without any condemnation

Let them fly

For a while

Let them live little more

They give silk

So why not let them age

In nature

Till the time comes

They give such a valuable gift-Silk

And are shredded before even their wings open

Let them fly

Let them breathe for a while

Let them smell the earth

For they may not come again soon
