I am woman —

I prayed —

I loved —

I cared — –

I laughed —

I planned —

I nurtured — –

I worked —

She worked hard — –

She worked really hard — –

But was I complimented enough —

She tried to be different —

I was laid out — –

She was called at —

I was stopped —

She was put back —

BUT

I tried again —

She tried more —

I worked again —

She loved again —

I lived again —

She smiled even when there was no reason —

I laugh — –

She still care —

I still dream —

She still dream big —

My dreams are still young —

Even if She age, she still thinks like a young woman —

While I think like a sixty-year-old —

I am still young at heart —

And they may call her whatnot —

But I know what I am —

I am not determined by those who don’t like me —

I know what I am —

I know what I seek —

I seek love —

She seek hope —

I seek wishes —

She seek people like me who love — —

I was harassed —

She was abused —

But we carried on — —

I said no to wrongs to me —

I said yes to good —

I said no to compromise —

She said yes to life again and again-

I said a woman’s no means no, but — –

I said this

She said that

But, I am still the same person

Though, she changed a lot by now

We both prayed —

I prayed for a new life again —

She prayed for the world —

I am also a woman!

She is also a woman!

I am a woman who is not well known —

She is a woman who is followed by thousands—

I am a woman who has no family

I am a woman who has a small family

I am a woman with no children

I am a woman with so many children

I am a divorcee

I am a newly wed-

We all are different — —

You may have one nice marriage

And I may have not even one marriage

You may like purple

And I may love the red

You may like to work 12 hours a day

And I may like flexible work

You may like to study more

And I may be happy with what I have

You may aspire more and much more

And I may be content with what I have — –

I like partying under stars

You may be like to be a reserved person

You may like to dance in nights

While I am too shy to think of it…

I like Pizza

While you may like the classical toast

I like spinach toast

She like wine………………………..

So on and on.. this list does not end

But all we seek is our perspective on being a woman

One day to celebrate womanhood

The woman in you! Different from other women in so many ways!

The woman in you! Similar to other women in so many ways!

And on this woman’s day to all the lovely women out there, and to their well-wishers.
