Meaning of life — Part II (Finding and Fulfilling dreams)

Note: These are authors own ideas

So, in the last article, we depicted, for teenagers, the questions that surround them is,

  1. Who we are,
  2. What we want
  3. What life has to offer to us,

The story does not remain the same, people have to answer these questions, the very fact of choosing subjects at school, to any other hobby a person wants to obtain, and at the same time this is not the same for all,

As a teenagers starts to grow in the teen years, there is mounting pressure on him/her. Pressures to compete with peers, pressure to gain the marks required, pressure for comparisons with others by parents/siblings/friends, pressure to achieve what some famous person (celebrity idol, role model) which he/she follows or what to be a follower.

Teenagers who often get jolted down with a sense of loss form a relationship, performance in some activity, marks in school, often teenagers land up in smoking, drinking, and other wrong behaviors.

One must note smoking, drinking, at this delicate age is not a jargon, but it should had been cured well, there are ways of this which I shall write here later.

Teenagers should have a healthy mind and a healthy body. As this is the delicate age that would determine the realization of first of your young age dreams. Yes, this is the age where some of the first choices about life are made, choices of younger years, when the some of the first decisions are made. The innocent desires, or the innocent dreams as I call them, the right choices are made, and often these goals are burnt in the smoke of smoking, which should not happen for sure. Well if done in a controlled way then too …, vapes were introduced, these cant be taken back all of a sudden, understand it as a science, one cant deprive it all of a sudden. But the question is why, when they are all young and healthy, where are these smokes sending happy aspirations and struggles of lives from youngsters? For those who are healthy, life has so much to offer, why you wander, why ? Seek thy, seek …

So, the question of

“Who we are”, got lost in troubles, to many, to others who comes out of teenage happy, you are lucky ones, thanks to your family, classmates, friends and siblings, others handle life tougher, as you went through the hardships of life, you are more tougher, even though less richer, no comparison please, accept each others as what you all are, if you went through hardships to come out of teenage, then others too slopped day and night to clear the engineering exams.

“What we want” what remains is a nice girlfriend/boyfriend, nice marks in studies, something to spend time on (but addictions are off the table now). So what we want in teenage, more than this, some like to gaze at stars and moon for sure. More on it sooner.

And

“What life has to offer to us” what remains here, is blank space, and why to surmount them with tensions of an adult life, so how does it matter, as the teenagers grows in age, they in future would like to take up night shifts in a call center or some like to work in part time to know both life, profession and explore oneself, and then the youngsters starts to explore himself/herself as an individual to perform more or to earn more in same limited time. So they wait to understand what life has to offer us, and what we have to offer to life. P.S. there is a working age in each country, see the working age of youngsters in your country to apply for labor laws.

So no one rule for all, but it all boils down to finding and fulfilling dreams, dreams that make their sprits live, makes them feel good, not just …

Then an individual enters adulthood, ..
