Latest Political change in the UK: Good or Bad? Farewell to Sir Keir Starmer.

There is a massive change in UK Politics. Yes, the Labour Leader changed, Andy Burnham is the new Labour Leader. It was all official today. And on Monday, he would be the new Prime Minister of the UK, after a formal appointment with the King. Sir Keir Starmer is still the PM till then.

Sir Keir Starmer is a hardworking politician and a very active Prime Minister. However, he faced backlash from people. Most people want the cost of living to go down, apart from other measures, such as small businesses, to thrive. However, due to ongoing global economic conditions, Sir Keir Starmer could not do so to that extent. Then his chancellor and deputy Prime Minister: both of them faced pressure and controversy during the Labour government’s tenure. People lost trust in him over time, and his party suffered losses in local elections, with Reform UK becoming a strong winner then. Then the ministers started to move away from Sir Keir Starmer. Sir Keir Starmer, during his tenure as PM, can be described as an active international leader who was seen across the political spectrum and across disciplines around the world, but that time was challenging him to do even more.

But why did Sir Keir Starmer go? Sir Keir Starmer brought the Labor Party to the limelight. He made Labor win the 2024 elections by a sweeping majority, and today he was going. What Labour is today is because of Keir Starmer; no one can forget that. So, give him a good farewell with thanksgiving.

One reason was losing popularity as Reform UK started gaining momentum in the UK. Now it was not just the Tories Labour had to defeat but Reform UK that Labour needed to worry about.

But why?

UK Health Secretary Wes Streeting resigned in disagreement with Starmer. Labour lost badly in local and regional elections. Labour lost the support of the people, and Keir lost the support of his ministers.

People and ministers have lost faith in Starmers vision.

Some controversial decisions, especially the appointment of Peter Mandelson as the UK Ambassador to the United States. Later, Peter Mandelson was linked to Epstein files. Mandelson had failed security checks, but Starmer took him in good faith. The civil servant responsible for it said he was under some pressure. He, too, resigned.

Andy Burnham defeated Reform UK by a good margin and returning to the House of Commons.

Labor MP got hope of survival amidst roaring Tories and triumphant Reform UK.

Andy Burnham can be found in T-shirts and talking to common people in a warm way. He is the people’s leader. He was MP for Leigh from 2001 to 2017.

Andy Burnham is be all over UK. He has massive support.

Congratulations to Andy Burnham, the to-be new Prime Minister of the UKand thank Sir Keir Starmer, for what the present is today, but a gift of the past. We wish Keir Starmer a nice post-retirement life and best wishes to the new to-be PM Andy Burnham, who is already a Labour Leader now.
