Tariffs Explained- Part I

Summary: Tariffs may be costly in the short term, but in the long run, to thrive as an independent nation, we must produce, consume, and continue this cycle. Implementing tariffs can strengthen the local market while still providing access to Chinese products with tariffs. The benefit is that these tariffs can be invested in local businesses, offering us quality products that are made or manufactured locally. And the tariffs you pay (in case you import) are sure to be a short-term cost that exists in the long run.

Tariffs can create new jobs, new businesses, it may not be easy though. I can feel your pains in this regards.

Check out the LinkedIn post by a renowned leader. The image below is taken form his LinkedIn Post. Below it shows Chinas aim to conquer worlds manufacturing businesses.

>How to address a crisis that may arise in all sectors, not just automobiles and robots.

>China is challenging all sectors. But why impose tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and Europe? Tariffs can’t be solely applied to China.

>China’s modus operandi for increasing sales is to offer low prices; consumers will notice affordable products and savings, leading to more purchases and turning the market into China’s playground, even if it initially costs more for China but less for Americans and others.

>Tariffs focusing on Chinese products instead of local ones may help.

>Local work should be given the opportunity to grow and sell.

>If we don’t buy or pre-order; what would Chinese companies make?

>These tariffs can be invested to grow your country’s manufacturing.

> These tariffs can be invested in local products, such as interest-free loans to local European residents.

>This can support and assist local American vehicles.

>China selling cheap products and others make European local products obsolete; no one buys local goods because they all order inexpensive Chinese items.

>Have nationalism and production, asking the government(s) to impose tariffs to support local products.

>Make In the country, focus on yourself and your nation. Export what is surplus and import what is lacking. Establish this as the new principle of trade relations. May everyone thrive; otherwise, only China will continue to prosper while others hope for better days.

>Time for ethical Trade Wars.

>Tarrifs, it may not be easy, but stay focused on the end goal; everything else would be made in China.

  1. Positive energy…I like it. Like you, I think it’s a problem that resolves itself.
If one country raises tariffs to equal the other country’s tariffs, then the tariffs are effectively neutralized in theory, and can then just be eliminated altogether – on both sides.
Free trade can be the ultimate goal. Until rational thinking prevails, just follow your wisdom.

    1. Good day Chris,

How are you? Hope I find you in high spirits.
You are right, you have written well I read new and saw news, I too think if it would take some time to soothe, but in long run it’s needed, Secretary of State Rubio said USA just produce software services and not production, free trade should and would come after some time.
      Warm regards
