Signs that Moon Settlements Near You!
There are things to plan while the Moon Mission gets ready.
Time to expand Moon missions to local universities and local businesses. This can expand space missions and may even make it affordable.
First Moon settlement construction will begin in 2026 and continue through 2032–2035 for full completion. All this depends on the progress made; new benchmarks would be set dynamically as it proceeds. The first phase is construction; the second phase is humans reaching the Moon; and the third phase is the expansion of all the steps to build a larger base for humans on the Moon in the 2030s.
Who knows we the people of Earth succeed in all three proposed phases of Moon missions and they plan a Phase IV.
But, well, how many businesses would it thrive in and in which domains? And what all to research as space companies build the base and do the basics on the Moon.
Is it still slow?
Given we’ll go to the South Pole of the Moon first!
But which businesses in late 2020s? And what new research areas would open up for the future of mankind?
Who knows, in 2029 they may announce an even bigger plan for phase 4 on the Moon! Are we ready for it?
What would you see in markets? It won’t change anything as of now? Oh yeah, as the mission seems restricted.
But phase 3 seems to be thorough and extensive. That would take place somewhere between 2029 and 2030.
So, plans for businesses in this domain? What about other things that rocket companies can’t make? Such as Moon safe cooking utensils? Or Moon safe shaving kits? Or say “Moon-safe sleeping beds with oxygen supplies”? Perhaps we will extract oxygen from the Moon as a hope!
What would we see in the market around that time?
Any changes?
Oh, the number of humans, even in phase 2, is restricted.
But phase 3, as I said, is extensive.
Can we grow businesses in this area for Phase 3, then?
What all would be nice business ideas for Phase 3 of the Moon Mission?
Not just these are business ideas, these are research topics, not necessarily in space research. We need this research as the Space companies prepare their rockets.
Why should we not look to the future and work toward it?
Research contests for the following areas are needed.
— Settlement materials such as green plastic/glass/wood, and more research on these areas.
— Materials for rockets.

— Food pouches that can last longer.
— Pickles for friends who would go to the Moon.
— Oxygen cylinders, which are lighter and innovative, and those that can be made on-site only. Research needed for this.

— Makeshift kitchens, especially for Moon. Given that gravity is different on the Moon. Research needed for this.
— Makeshift washrooms especially for Moon. Research needed for this.
Department of Architecture and Interior Designing!
— Configurations for shaving kits for men and beauty kits for women for space use.
— Medicines for Moon!
Department of Medicine and Dermatologists!
— Packaged food for space to be more abundant. Research and manufacturing, plus testing, are needed for this right now.
Department of Food!
— Gadgets designed for Moon. Research is needed for this.
Department of Technology!
— Water extractor like we have a tubewell here on Earth. Research is needed for this.
Department of Water and Irrigation!
— Potato cultivation as shown in Hollywood movies.
Department of Agriculture!
— Plant cultivation on South Pole digs. Research is needed for this. What are we waiting for? Time is now!
Department of Biological Sciences!
— Tents with oxygen for a nice sleep. Research is needed for this. What are we waiting for? Time is now!
Department of Sciences!
— Stoves for the Moon. Perhaps new recipes would emerge live from the Moon in a few years’ time. The gravity there is different, so you may not easily simmer or flip pasta as on Earth. Research is needed for this. What are we waiting for? Time is now!
Department of Physics!
— Internet connections on the Moon.
Department of Computer Networks!
— Power, they say, they would build Nuclear Energy there, as per some articles I read.
