The Mars and Moon mission can create hundreds of thousands of jobs. These jobs won’t be limited to the USA. As Earth decides to plant Solar System bases on these places. They would be spread across the globe of Mars and Moon as more and more countries seek to inhabit Mars and the Moon. As for me, I do not like the word “colonize Mars” but that is how it has been used. Or are we heading to “Eurupa”? Eurupa of Jupiter harbors a massive under ground ocean providing liquid water, chemistry, and energy — the main raw material for life. Whatever, if in the coming times we can’t claim that Mars can have life, we head to Europa, Jupiter’s moon. Simple, our plans don’t go in vain; these jobs don’t go in vain.
This is not just one word, “inhabit Mars.” No, it’s a big project, a big plan. We know we have to extend mankind beyond Earth. We know the International Space Station is in place. The next aim was the Moon, and we humans recently succeeded in a mission to the Moon. We need stations on Mars, Venus and Moon. Now it is time to think big, to think beyond the great work of stepping on the Moon. Yes, stepping on the Moon would be a great achievement for mankind. We are waiting for it to happen again after decades of a break. But we should not just wait for that to happen. The answer is — NO. We need to prepare for the next steps. What are the next steps?
We need to understand that we should not wait to inhabit the satellite and the planets near Earth. This requires planned programs. Until plans come based on feedback from rovers on Mars, the Moon, or Venus, we can prepare ourselves. We know we are going to the Moon, Mars, and Venus, so why not start making the things we need? What are the things needed for inhabiting a foreign planet?
Well, if we have to step up there, tents won’t be enough for bathrooms, toilets, first aid, and AI hospitals. We can get assembled toilets, bathrooms, and AI based medical clinics of various kinds ready; indeed, we need makeshift assembled AI hospitals before humans can go there. Make these as parts, and we ship them in parts. These parts will be assembled there when we reach Mars, the Moon, and Venus, with our flags! Yes, is a flag necessary? How else can we inhabit, with no preparation on our end! The one who does the most preparations gets the most on the map of new planet or Satellite! Is it that we all have to work on Mars and Moon missions?
Yes, all countries must actively participate in the inhabitation of the Moon, Mars, and Venus. We must set up oxygen extraction units that can be sent as parts, with the parts assembled on Mars/Moon by robots. The parts would be made on Earth, as were parts for bathrooms, toilets, AI medical clinics, AI robotic nurse, AI robotic doctors or, more specifically, with “Made in Paris” or “Made in Hungary” taglines. This would create competition on Earth, and we would be able to inhabit Mars/Moon with greater intensity. What would this inhabitation on Mars/Moon give us?
What does inhabiting Mars or the Moon give us? Do we need to live beyond Earth? What are people doing? Just recreating fashion, music, and so on. But we need to understand that humankind has reached a cliff. We need to look ahead of it. We need jobs and a reason for them. Making parts for assembly on Mars or the Moon would not only be a good business; it would give humans jobs. Creating robots for Mars or the Moon would create jobs. How many jobs?
Well, hundreds and thousands of jobs would be created for a program of inhabitation of Mars/Moon. Our, meaning Earth’s, rovers have detected the presence of water and oxygen. As far as I have read, we need to extract water and oxygen; the rest would follow. So, until we are doing this, extraction of oxygen and water by sending the required devices we can make, parts that can be assembled on Mars/Moon when spaceships are ready. Would spaceship creation also create jobs?
Yes, the creation of spaceships is itself a major industry, but sadly, no major work has begun in this domain. Yes, we have started very well with rockets, satellites, and more, but real spaceships capable of delivering these parts for assembly on Mars or the Moon have not yet begun.
To explain how this would create jobs, there would be hundreds of thousands of them. Consider the first rocket to Mars to inhabit there. They would need AI-based medical care there, as there are fewer humans there and not all would be doctors. So we need makeshift, assembled hospital units that need to be installed on Mars before humans reach Mars. These parts need to be installed by robots on Mars before humans reach Mars after a 3-month journey. This drill would be done on all sides and all locations of Mars. We then need assembled instruments that can do mining on Mars with help of robots. We would also need a device that can extract oxygen from the atmosphere. Until we learn how to mass produce water and oxygen on Mars/Moon, we need to rely on these. As science progresses, we would get answers, but we won’t be able to create assembled medical clinics suddenly. These AI clinics would be operated with AI bots and humans on planet Earth. These constructions would create a lot of jobs along with discoveries with help of AI to make oxygen and water on Mars! Together we can do it!
I give you an example, here in India before any festival comes, the market is flooded with those festival essentials however many are from “Made in China” label. Now is the chance for every country to deliver a “Made in abc” label assembled products for our mission of life beyond Earth, weather its Mars or Europa time will tell. But we need units on Mars, Moon, and so on. So, make in advance, be ready for deliveries, make now, think of future of your generations.
And in the end I would like to say, whatever, if in the coming times we can’t claim that Mars/Moon/Venus can have life, we head to Europa, Jupiter’s moon. Simple, our plans don’t go in vain; these jobs don’t go in vain, these products wont go in vain. Europa for sure can possess biological life. Who knows if it already has one? Ready to face another life on Europa? No, so ready to inhabit Europa!
Manufacturing would get a major boost as we build assembled hospitals, robots, and houses to be sent to Mars/Moon. These would be unloaded from the spaceship. Then AI robots would come and assemble these hospitals, toilets, houses, and offices on Mars/Moon. A space station in each planet of Solar System, ready with AI, to inhabit(colonize) the Solar System! Do you want to be left behind? Don’t you want to see the other side of Europa one day? A bud of a red rose on Europa, from a satellite on Earth? Don’t you want to be part of that future and see it? It’s a distant future. Maybe your grandchildren may one day see this dream come true.
These are the aims mankind must look up to. These are the pathways, mankind is on a cliff, see beyond the cliff. There is a lot to do, there is a lot to work for, there is a lot to aim for. Yes salary for unemployed is a mandatory thing, but we need to do a lot of work, there are lot of jobs, not just in robotics, but in assembling, in part generation in almost all kinds of subjects. Its just hope we must stick too. And know these “Made in abc” assembled products wont go waste, they would be put to use in Earths extra-territorial bases in THE SOLAR SYSTEM.
