Today I am writing a small story about new robots, with Pollen Robotics and Hugging Face launching their mini robots and sales and demand peaking.
What do you think? To buy one?
Or since the robots by Pollen Robotics and Hugging Face are open source, they can be used to make small robots of all kinds.
To be very frank, I found the Pollen Robotics and Hugging Face robots very cute; Microduck reminds me of Donald Duck, which I used to watch as a kid. It is so cute and beautifully chirping.
I don’t mean to say you need to buy one-No. All I want to say is that the world is moving fast, and competition in AI and robotics is steep.
So what if China wants to compete here? What can Europe-US competitors or China make next- something like teddy bear robots? Look here,
Or something like doll robots? Are these dolls below nice micro robots? What would you call them? Mini Cinderella?
At competitive prices, many people in the middle and upper-middle classes could buy them for kids at home; alas, safety is taken care of.
So, let’s see who takes which character from childhood fantasies to make a robot from it.
What about a Moguli robot form Jungle Book? But beware if the Moguli robot climbs up to shelves and does mischief. So precautions must be taken in implementation to avoid harming anyone.
Here is the SherKhan from Jungle Book; no one would buy this one, it looks so dangerous.
Or an Elsa Anna robot? Would you like a Cinderella robot?
Maybe children would demand their favorite childhood fantasy character!
But AI should be banned for children.
Dont keep that tiger robot near children unless its a small in size, this one below better?
No it should be smaller than this as well.
Time to come back to the present and wait and see, as these two bots just launched on the market are so amazing; they meet imagination and implementation.
You can have all these, but safety is a concern.
Let’s see if robotic companies will make these avatars with the same algorithm as a baseline at the time being safe.
