From Learn Coding to Learn AI: Our Children’s Race to Learn

#ai #artificialintelligence #future #futurist

Yes, it was for everyone; everyone to learn coding four years ago.

Everyone was supposed to participate in the race to support their children’s learning to code.

Yes, it wasn’t just children; many adults left their jobs to enter coding, as it was a high-demand job during the decade of 2013 to 2023.

Later, reskilling was a common approach to help adults learn coding.

Children and adults were put in a race, and they didn’t know the game ended before they finished the race. What happened to those children? Anyone know?

But yes, these children who learnt coding back then can be considered as learning for the development of cognitive skills and particular skills.

Coding is still necessary, but many aspects of it are automated. And someone with advanced skills in coding is always wanted, but the number of such needs has sharply reduced over these years.

In Pandemic, the demand increased.

Now it is — “Learn AI”.

It was coding for toddlers.

They even made books on “learn coding”.

Now kids are learning “Neural Networks” and “AI”.

Things are changing.

Many made coaching centers to teach C++ and Java to children.

Then came a phase of learning Python across schools and colleges.

Now it’s AI in schools and colleges.

How fast this learning bubble changed — It was there for a decade.

So, can we say the next AI learning bubble would last a decade? Read my next article on this topic.

Around 2015, learning coding with C++ and Java was in every School and University.

In 2020, coding was a 21st-century skill, needed just like Maths and English.

Coding was taught online, after school, as a special subject in schools, even if the students were burdened.

Even in kindergarten, software was available for such young children.

Parents felt a sense of competition with other people’s children learning coding.

Did it put stress on young children?

Was it right to teach advanced coding to children?

What are those children who learned to say advanced Java in 2015 doing now?

Startups for teaching coding by alumni of top-tier universities.

The “learn coding” bubble lasted from 2013 to 2023.

During the pandemic, there was a high demand for online learning for children, with advertisements for it everywhere.

Local neighbourhood coaching classes for children were blooming.

In 2022–23, investors started to disinvest in coding coaching.

AI shifted the narrative from every child must code to every child must have AI-ready skills.

But AI needed maths back then, so math learning became important for a while, till GPT took over AI.

The idea that every kid must be a software developer is no longer the norm.

Now, coding is a part of STEM education, no longer a special area; rather, AI chapters are taught in younger classes now.

Some schools teach advanced coding as a special subject, which is not mandatory.

Now it’s AI.

It reminds me of the time when children were taught app-making in 2014, but they were unable to make the app ready for the App Store.

Everyone is talking about teaching AI to their children.

How long would this learning AI bubble last? See my coming articles.

A decade? Is it worth it for your children to learn AI?

Yes, since AI is different from coding.

But what should we teach kids about AI? At what age, what topic?

Well, I’ll cover that in the coming articles.

A privacy possible solution, each person or group to have a data storage unit at home/community

#ai #datacenters #artificialintelligence #future #futurist

In my last article, I covered the tech news of chats of 300,000 people leaked by Grok. So, how can we prevent this from happening in the future?

Server side programming is tension free, but all that cause problem is our tokens and queries going to data centers.

Option to be asked, if people want their conversation to be stored on data centers?

The increase in personal data centers is a necessity.

Personal data centers to maximize the privacy of your data.

Personal data centers refer to client-side computing.

This mean client-side processing, meaning we need to install standalone units on each person’s home.

Why share your queries on the internet? How long should you share your queries and answers?

Should cloud data processing end? No, so what would cloud computing lead to? What about plans for data centers on Mars? Thats data backup?

Can stopping personal data sharing cause harm to children and adults alike, since no more government and companies can see your queries?

Why not have your data on your own data center in your backyard? And if you are a company, would you consider buying your data center in the ocean?

Just like you carry a pen drive for saving something important. So why not carry your data center with you when you move house?

How long would companies hold personal data?

The government and private players would lose control of your data then?

This can solve many problems.

Security, privacy, safety, personalization, and the growing data needs.

These data centers are to be provided with all utilities, such as deleting part of the memory, or even refactoring the drives.

Would it be plausible, let alone feasible?

What you must know about the latest Grok Episode of Chat Leaks

Greetings everyone,

Hope you are doing well,

Today I will talk about, “What you must know about the latest Grok Episode of Chat Leaks.”

What was it?

Why did it happen?

How can it affect you, your near ones?

Here is the summary,

Note: The author does not know how many government or private company employees’ chats were exposed, it just in future if some crucial data is leaked. This incident may have caused more harm if it had exposed the organization’s work data, and the remedies are discussed here.

Recently, 300 chats from Grok users have been leaked online. What does this mean, who could be affected, and what if more data is compromised? How should we respond to it and prevent future leaks?

It’s like 18th century letters going to the post office but being read out loud by postmasters; whoever hears them gets the private message. Isn’t it?

Press enter or click to view image in full size

How might it have harmed government and private companies that rely on chatbot consulting? How can we stay safe in the future — personally, as a company, or as an organization? Read here.

What is it?

— This is more than AI ethics

— Privacy Concerns for people, companies, and government

— Security concerns for government and mission-critical private jobs.

— Its about work security, processes, and more

— Its like data theft? If an employee’s data from a company gets leaked, it can cause a lot of trouble.

— Many employees use chatbots for analysis, questioning, consulting helpdesk and performing analytics.

— Grok’s hundreds of thousands of chats are now accessible on Google. Earlier, similar issues were with Meta and some with OpenAI as well.

— How many leaked chats belonged to people, how many to were related to companies and government employees?

— Organizational work exposure is also an issue, given that a lot of organizations use these apps these days.

— Government and Private Companies ‘ mission-critical confidential work is under access by non-stakeholders.

Sensitivity about

— A person’s/organization’s privacy

— A company’s way of working exposed means its basic protocols are exposed

— His/her profession, which area of work is being referred to in an online chatbot exposed

— Values may be leaked

— Persona may be leaked

— Private Affiliations may be leaked

— Beliefs of kinds may be leaked

— Chat privacy is as important as profile privacy

— Personal data can be correlated if exposed

How to deal with the mess now? And how to deal with it in the future?

— Encrypt the exposed or future data.

— Tell users to download the data (send emails) and delete it permanently.

— Load saved data again when needed.

— Share the link to be more secure in the future. How much more secure is another question.

— In the future, local system downloads will outperform saving data on the internet for some critical tasks. This means desktop applications or applications on your own data centers.

– Ask the user if they want to permanently delete a chat thread for being critical.

— Saving on the internet helps build an AI profile of a person or organization, including their taste on an issue and more, so the share option provides easy future handling.

— So, a secure sharing method must with end-to-end encryption implemented.

Are you tired of filling in Info on Each App You Use?

Tired of each new AI-backed App asking you your preferences!

Here is the solution! Universal AI Profile!

Ask your Big Tech Leader!

The Universal AI profile is a user-specific profile that helps the AI understand the user and their preferences across devices, apps and browsers. This allows the user to switch between AI apps simply by granting access to stored secure data in the AI Profile. Option to update each access to AI is logged in. As a result, even a new AI app can learn about you without needing to interact with familiar or new topics. The AI Document Architecture enables you to share your AI preferences across various apps, including Gmail, ChatGPT, Docs, Tumblr, and more. Each use brings you closer to sharing with AI, and all the apps you use can access this information if you agree. However, privacy concerns related to this need to be addressed.

The details are here,

More Details:

Pros

— Saved AI Profile in the form of XML/graph/weights can be used to work on new AI tools.

— Just like phone change data transfer, for example.

— A universally accepted format can be useful.

— Log in to your AI profile and start working with any AI.

— Update the AI Profile for each use.

— The best option is to save it on a server.

— Accessible only with permissions.

— The weights are most suitable for this task.

— Switch easily between AI apps.

— No need to fill in the details.

— No need to start from scratch in every app/ every updation. For example, updating the search preferences for birthday celebrations.

— Name and personal details might not be included in the AI Profile.

— Only preferences and AI history will be saved.

Cons

— However, data theft can be a serious problem.

— Each app needs to add code to understand and update its local profile.

— Privacy concerns are another issue.

— Each access updation, read, and write errors need to be tackled.

— Secure editing and modification concerns are there.

— Load on data centers.

— Security of data, another concern.

— Updation costs.

— Maintenance costs.

Smart Glasses- Future

Summary:

Imagine connecting your AI login/profile with your smart glasses; then the world opens up to you, with your smart glasses’ spatial AI by your side. The AI smart glass recognizes you through your AI login (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar), allowing it to recommend you, stay by your side, and provide guidance. But, there are many negative points here as well. Read below.

What is the future of smart glasses?

Would smart glasses be used profoundly in the future or would they be obsolete?

What are the uses of smart glasses?

Well, they are easy to carry, and have a lot of smart applications

But-At the same time, there are disadvantages it carries

So, can we strike a balance between the benefits and drawbacks of smart glasses to make it a safe device, not just safe for privacy, but also safe for overall health.

Smart Glasses Pros

— It’s convenient; the first point is very useful.

— People with glasses can use it with spatial intelligence to navigate and plan.

— It’s a guide for offices, homes, and restaurants.

— It can calculate the calories you’re eating.

— It can serve as your constant reminder that you are overeating or undereating.

— Assistance in navigating unseen roads, pathways, and office spaces

— A pal around a trip

— No need for a tourist guide while on vacation

— The AI in smart glasses recognizes you, so it can notify you if something important is close by.

— Can assist with personal conversations and video calls by reading body language and providing AI insights.

— Can nod to you when you’re getting ready with a tie in front of a mirror. Recommend your clothes for a ball night.

— Can help with searching for items.

— Can assist the elderly.

— Can assist people with vision problems.

— Assist in navigation while on drive.

— It’s easier to use than smart earbuds and smart watches.

— Can assist in learning for special education pupils.

— It can help professionals in military and policing jobs to search and navigate.

— Learning tool, such as learn medical procedures for educational purposes.

— Can play music.

— Able to take phone calls.

Smart Glasses Cons

— Privacy issues need to be addressed.

— Whenever we are in private mode, the specs AI must be turned off.

— Option to delete part of the knowledge history recorded by AI glasses.

— Private mode can involve meeting someone or using a utility such as a change room mirror.

— Needs a quick button to turn off AI, like when with girlfriend.

— Need to conduct experiments on what happens to eyesight if it is used constantly.

— Distract and lose focus while performing important tasks such as driving.

— If spatial AI in glasses is used all the time, what changes occur in the human brain and eyes that constantly see annotated, tagged spatial data? Can it affect the brain.

— Having a charged band around the head can affect the brain. Study needed to prove it safe to use, with testing done on animals and then humans for long-term use.

— Electric charge is present in smart earbuds as well. How much is a safe amount of time to use them?

— But specs are near the forehead, and the human brain can be sensitive.

— The data collected must be securely and privately stored.

— Automatic power off mode can be a safe mode, so turn it off and it becomes like regular sunglasses or glasses.

— The number of hours it can safely be powered on needs to be calculated with real time biological testing.

Smart sunglasses/specs, if made considering the above pros and cons, can be a device for the future.

Terror Activity Detection with AI

Spatial Language Models, also known as Spatial LLMs, can detect terrorist activities once they are trained well.

— It can detect a gun from the angles of cameras if we allow it to be learnt in a synthetic way.

— Synthetic way of learning means acting as if gun violence and labelling it as a terror threat for AI to understand.

— Other areas where AI can learn are movie scenes where a patch of movie is defined as terror activity.

— Old recordings of real-time data can be fetched in Spatial LLM

— People need to be taught about sirens and what they mean.

— As soon as the siren is switched on, people need to get down under the desks or behind the walls.

— The above warnings for siren handling may be incomplete. The authorities must teach people how to handle sirens and what all people, children need to do when sirens sound.

— People can be taught what to do when a particular kind of siren is running.

— And this also verifies to people, that, help is coming.

— So, support AI in detecting terror activities with Spacial LLM. It may take time, but we can take the first step.

Asking License Number from a AI doctor, AI lawyer, or even an AI plumbing expert

Yes, now is the time for governments to rise to issue license numbers to these professionals.

Something so that people understand that AI can infer to help you in diagnosing the problem, giving you a second thought. But the work of licensed professionals can’t be done away with.

You can refer to what medicine is and what the ECG image looks like with AI agents. But don’t make AI a doctor right now; you can understand what it all means from AI, but not beyond that.

So, the ball is in the court of governments and AI companies around the world.

Given these professions have become so costly that people tend to use them instead of spending money, so governments and AI companies must find a diligent solution for it.

When would AI surpass the capabilities of real professionals?

It would take time.

How can humans assist in resolving their medical or other issues quickly? Well, the answer lies in the hands of governments now. Governments need to decide which areas of healing or practices can be licensed or be put on the licensing queues.

We have to streamline things.

We need to educate people to ask AI, but for now, they should not rely on AI recommendations fully.

Refer to AI, but be cautious.

AI is not fully there yet.

So take care of yourself.

AI-based Medical Analysis-Right versus wrong, ethical versus unethical

Let’s build the future by moving toward AI-based medical approvals and licensing. Maybe in 20 years, AI will lead medical systems, but human doctors will still be needed for each nod.

Right– Read the app, but do not rely on medical apps. Refer to a doctor.

Wrong– Read App, and follow

Ethical– Approved AI-based parts such as surgical heads used by medical practitioners

Unethical-Unapproved AI use that is not certified by national or international medical institutions.

The future might change with AI assisting humans in medical procedures. But STOP, we are not in the future right now. We need to pause here. Why? Read below!

Right now, AI is not ready to be certified for medical procedures unless approved by medical practitioners, such as in robotics during operations.

Robotics in some surgeries is approved by international medical practitioners.

We need to determine which practices can be trusted with AI.

Yes, you can look in the chat bots; I do too. But relying solely on AI for a medical cure isn’t right. We are not there yet.

We are not fully there yet.

It will be reached in the future. When? The governments in a country issue licenses to practitioners, and there are exams for that too! Chatbots, get ready for exams!

But if it’s getting late, check the apps first, then go to the practitioner to get your things verified.

The practitioner can use these apps for now. Here comes the role of the government, which has the right to accept a procedure or not.

The government must add a statement in the app stating that this app is under testing and can’t be fully relied on.

The right information can be obtained from AI apps, but this is unethical because AI-based Medicines are not recognized by medical practitioners and do not hold a Medical License in your country. Which country are you from? Is your AI for medicine registered by your country?

Using AI is harmless as long as the user understands that AI is not fully present.

Using reading AI for a second opinion is not wrong, till you know you need to show the findings to a doctor.

ChatGPT can’t draw Map-We’ll talk to chatGPT in it’s language and it can come close

It has long way to go.

Some people on internet have commented that chatGPT can’t draw map of USA or Europe. Here is for them and everyone.

ChatGPT may have reached PhD level intelligence but there are still areas it needs to sharpen up at.

It’s not just map of USA, in the long run, chatGPT needs to learn how to read, draw zoom and redraw old ship designs. There are epics which mentions an ancient airplanes design, we need chatGPT to zoom it including Da Vinci Designs.

What — Teaching ChaptGPT how to read and write on papers the way human does. Not just map of Europe/USA but also fashion designing, ship designing, spaceshipdesigning, curves to reading motor designs from 16th Century. It has really a long way to go.

Indeed chatGPT should thank people to find out its deficiency of not able to draw graphs of USA and Europe.

Learn how to draw maps and get into aeronautical engineering chatGPT, so that you have PhD in design as well. You can then one day find flaws with aircraft’s, what went wrong in today’s crash. We need it.

The prompt that worked closest was, to tell chatGPT to draw grid lines, make scale common, read and write text on paper. It’s all not that straightforward see the best it did today, though still not perfect.

I tried several prompts. The one that worked best among all was, “Now, use grids, which means draw grids on paper. And then use google maps to see which grid is which country. Use grids after scaling to same dimentions, means scale to same scale, your drawing paper and google maps compression. Draw Europe Map now with grids.”

So Professor ChatGPT!!! If you forget during research, we need to be provided with the premise. If the premise is not clear, then how would we need to reach the hypothesis. Let’s clear the premise, then, in more elaborate terms? Let’s give inputs to ChatGPT to make the graph right, more data to reach the conclusions?

Here are the steps I took to teach it some Map and Paper reading and writing.

The one closest is this –

Here is how to teach ChatGPT map drawing, and one day it may beat humans, but there is time, as some say it missed Geography classes, but not Math Graph drawing classes for sure~~~

Here is a close up,

There is still a long long way to go.

ChatGPT need to scale, compress, expand, and separate words from curves. All this would need some rules and extensive learning with human help.

Stay well,
